A quick note about PMs and PM notification.

It is probably fairly apparent to everyone the the SA forums are a bit
not nearly as good and the NiD ones TRiPPY, Saz and Phage run and while
I plan to upgrade from CS 1.1 to CS 2.0 at some point, which
should iron out some issues, I need to do some reading on it.
The only major non cosmetic irritating problem is that the PM system is
kind of on crack, the only way I have found to send somone a PM is by
finding a thread they have posted in and clicking on PM in said
message. Similarly the PM notifcation system (or lack thereof) is
similarly wierd. The lovely quirky little board occasionally sends out
emails telling you that somone PMed you a month ago but otherwise the
only way to check is by clicking the
"Private messages"

The board seems to treat PMs as a kind of private forum rather than email. I dont know! I think its wierd as,
hopefully we can all go back home soon.
Suffice to say, if you send somone a PM be sure to put a little note in
this thread so people know to check their private message wierd ass
forum thing...
