04-30-2006, 1:59 AM Sazpaimon Joined on 04-30-2006 Posts 1 Magical admin to the rescue Day 3, I've been trying my damndest to try and get the domain working, I blame easily.co.uk (The people that TRiPPY bought NiD.com from).  They simply refuse to take any of the server changes :/.  I've got a temporary fix that can work however: In Explorer, open up C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts in notepad (This can be in a different location if you're using a different windows version) Windows XP   =      C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC Windows 2K   =     C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC Win 98/ME     =     C:\WINDOWS If  there is no hosts file, create a new file in notepad and save it as hosts, not hosts.txt, just hosts Add to the bottom of the file the following lines: 82.165.178.70 nightsintodreams.com 82.165.178.70 www.nightsintodreams.com This will get the site working.  Once the problem is fixed I reccomend removing those lines later on. I have a horrible feeling though that the fun has only started, i'm awaiting a massive pain in the ass regarding the security code theyre SUPPOSED to give me to type into Godaddy (i bet they dont tell me it e_e). So im waiting on an email from easily confirming they have my mail. Theyve already sent me an email telling me to contact them by post, so i done that, lets hope its all straight forward. Is there any way to use the above fix regarding my site ftp? Dare to Dream?    Report
