Haha...I know, it's so easy to mess up on SC4...I still have a lot of issues with that mare...I don't think I've ever opened the first link ball! And I almost always get hit by something!
SC and MF were the two dreams that I originally didn't like when I started playing, but once you learn them they grow on you.

Well, I guess I won't be playing NiGHTS for a while because I totaly busted my 3D controller. The analog stick was starting to get sticky and going slighly in the wrong direction, so I took it apart to see if I could loosen it up, and I guess I somehow stretched the springs because now it's so lose that it doesn't do anything! Darn! Well, at least I squeaked past the JP record on SC before this happened. I really wanted to get above 800k though. Guess I'll have to wait until I buy a new controller off ebay.

Also, one note, the SC3 record was actually done using the 3 stunt ribbon / 3 link ball run, but it's so difficult to get a good score that I switched to a 4 stunt ribbon strategy which you will see in the video. With 4 stunt ribbons I should be able to get 175k, but I won't be able to try it out until I get a new controller (just bought one but waiting for it to arrive!).

Sorry Pete! I wasn't even trying to beat your score but it happened,
and only by a few hundred points! Probably the closest record we have
on sa.net, so I don't even really consider it beaten, I just consider
it a tie.
I also played SV once, and just so happened to beat the SV3 and SVT
records too. Either this new pad is really helping me do dreamies or I
am just getting better at them. It does feel a lot different than my
old pad. Unfortunately I didn't start recording the video until the end
of mare 3 because I was only playing the dream for fun while the FB
video was processing. I'll have to play through the other dreams and
see if this new pad helps there too.

Congratulations on beating FB Charlie! I am surprised that my record lasted almost a year... and don't worry about calling it a tie - I remember beating the long-standing JPN score by someting like 400 pts - back before we knew about multiple dreamies.
Of course, you passing the record gave me an urge to spin FB again. I managed several scores over a million, but on none of them I got over 200K for FB2 - I suspect that either of us could achieve 1,100,000 for this dream with a spectacular run.

Yeah, 1.1 million would be sweet...I couldn't believe it when I noticed that was your potential...I hope one of us does it...and if you managed several scores over 1 million without a good FB2 score that is just crazy. I needed FB2 to get over 1 million, and getting 250k on FB2 is tough...that was my one and only time. I need to get a lot better at the snowballs in FB3 and the link ball on FB4...you definitely own those mares.

After Peter's improvements I had to give it a go myself. Still need to work on mare 3 and 4 though if I want to catch up. I think Peter will reach 1.1 million soon.
