And I'm back

Ok guys, sorry for the down time - lots of personal stuff that I won't bore you with. As soon as I get some more time, I'll update the site. Good work on keeping the dream alive!

Welcome Back!

Return of the Giant Sandwich King!

Heya, we're glad to have you back, Luigi. Of course, life takes priority over all of our NiGHTS nonsense, and we'd love to hear about what personal escapades you've had - whether they're "boring" or not is irrelevant, should you be willing to share.

I'm playing again after a long sabbatical from the dream world, and I know Peter has a bunch of nice scores to post as well. We'll see you around the forums, and welcome back!

Sincerely,
Ben

Cool guys cheers.

I've done a quick mass update. Anything I missed, can you please post a reply in THIS thread, so I know what specifically needs to be added.

Also, no comas in score submissions please! It doubles my work :)

I've been playing the PS2 version a bit - great to look at, but god Nights moves slow compared to the Saturn version. Plus my Saturn analogue pad is bust, so no playing the best version for a while (£30 on ebay!?!?!)

Thanks for updating Lui. I think the only thing missing for me is FB4 (not a big deal though). You may want to check Ben's scores as I didn't see his updated SV scores. And I have to agree with you that Nights is slow in the PS2 version and it honestly drives me crazy because I'm so used to the speed of the Saturn version. Too bad about your pad...£30 sounds way too expensive!

FB4 53740

Hey guys, all scores updated! Great stuff. I'm hoping to update the front page and the proof images this coming week too.

I'm thinking of opening up my Nights pad - I cant do any more damage to it anyway as its not working. Anyone have an experience with it/any pad?

I share your way of thinking: it can't get any worse if it's already broken, aye? Anyway, there's not a lot you can do if the board itself has burned out, but the least you can do is clean off any gunk / dust that's accumulated on it. I don't remember what the inside of an analog pad looks like, but if there are any ribbon cables, make sure that those are firmly set in place. Loose cords can be easily re-soldered as well. I've fixed a few SNES cartridges and a broken 32X using these simple methods, so give it a go!

I do have two spare analog controllers that don't see much use these days, by the way. So long as they work internationally (and they should), one of them is yours if you desire. Let us know how things work out!

Sincerely,
Ben

P.S.: No rush on the updates. Just glad to see you!

Opening up the analog pad isn't that bad. I did it with my first one when it was giving me problems and it's fairly easy to put back together. If you're planning on trying to fix it just make sure you don't pull on the analog stick like I did, otherwise you'll stretch the springs and it'll become useless! (whoops!)

Thanks for the update!

Nice to see that you were able to get that mess of scores factored in, Luigi. If you ever need us to organize our score threads, let us know!

Ben
