Okay, what's the deal with Jackle - he's the one that I have the most trouble with.
I often seem to run out of drill attack trying to get to him, and he just keeps nailing me with those damn cards...
I have had decent boss times fighting him, but they're more luck than judgement.

Jackle is a truly difficult boss, probably my least favorite cause he
is so damn random. This isnt made any easier by the fact he is very
hard to see against the background of his stage. The way I do him is by
dashing directly towards him as he is throwing cards after the level
starts. Once the cards get within a certain range of you they seem to
lose their "homing" properties and you can dodge over or under them.
Within three cards you should be close enough to grab him. If you dont
get close enough to him before he finishes throwing his first set of
cards kiss the 2.0 goodbye.
When you throw him try to throw him up or down at an acute angle then
he wont travel so far away thus saving you some time. You could try
pausing the game in order to figure out where he is then dashing after
him again. Try to stay between him and his cloak, later rinse repeat,
after 5 hits he is toast. If he gets his cloak back, you must hit him
one additional time.
Hope that helps.

Jackle's awesome. When I fight him, I either 2.0 him or he actually
makes me frantically rush to take him out before the dream ends.
I'd follow Tabitha's advice, except try throwing him straight up or
down. He usually is close enough for you to grab him a second time
without him even recovering. Also, after a few throws, he wont go
toward you anymore: his cape will be closer in his other direction. I
*think* it's after about 3 shots. Then, you go the other way to get him
before he gets the cape back.

Good point, staying between Jackle and his cape is a good idea as well.

For some reason, Jackle is my playtoy. I can almost 2.0 him in my sleep, lol. I'm rather annoyed that I lost my more recent file, as I think it had a 105 on there, and I have my Jackle records flooded with 104's since I have tried to fix that time. Also, while HIGHLY unlikely, trying to get a 106, but I just can't cut any time out it seems.

What I do, bare in mind, I don't go for time, is drill dash off the
floor, which bounces me upwards where I continue to bounce off the roof
and do this zag zag(should only bounce twice) before you reach him...It
works, but I must be the worst player at grabbing him before he gets
his cloak back...although that said, he gave me my best boss time ever,
the one time I ate him, 100 secs.
Although Reala should have given me a 104, but as I paralooped the git
the third time, He got me back at the exact same time, so its a 99 for
me XD

I just find Jackle really weird, cos he bounces away from you and jerks the screen so much, I lose my bearings, thus only ever got 102 max.

I think the trick with Jack is to throw him directly up or down then he
will, in theory, be very close to you for the next throw rather than a
few seconds dash away.
