Finally everything came together. Good run on SV3 and a 2.0 boss. Onto SG next.

That was my best SV3 run ever by about 20K and I happened to get a 2.0 boss for only about the 5th time ever on the same run. I doubt I'll ever beat that total. Damn those bosses are hard.

Very nice indeed! And yes, the bosses are harder, especially Gillwing. Which one are you using?

I always have the bosses on Random. Have done 2.0 on 3 or 4 of them now. It was Reala on the big score. Have done 2.0 on Gillwing a couple of times as well though.

It can be boring, but setting the boss to your best one can vastly improve your scores. Gillwing, Puffy, Reala were all top choices in the original game. Currently I've only got a PS2 2.0 for Reala... how did you do Gillwing, still one big paraloop?

Proof wise - use photobucket.com to upload pics then post the links here (use the embed form). Really useful way to get pics onto forums. Just your SV3 and SVT pics will be fine - I just want the ones that beat the Saturn Nights Scores.

Do you think ribbons are easier in the PS2 version or just different and thats what you've got used to?

I'm finding I'm equally crap at all the bosses on the PS2 as they're all so damn hard, so I probably have as much chance of lucking a 2.0 on any of them. Gillwing I did by waiting a couple of sec at the start before setting off to the right, so he's not at the very bottom of the screen when you overtake him, then loop his tail as before.

The ribbons on the PS2 are much easier for me, because I can hammer away on both buttons without cancelling the ribbon. I put the Saturn back on to check and I still can't do it well.
