Hey There!    In my efforts to improve my Mare 3 score, I've been tinkering around with tacking on a fifth Stunt Loop during the final lap. The best way to allocate time for this is to have NiGHTS actually make progress through the level while doing the stunts for the other four loops. Then, in the final lap, after completing the Stunt Loop through the cavern, one can backtrack about six seconds through the level and nail a final Stunt Loop.    I still stick with the four cavern expiditions though, as I have a hard enough time doing Dreamies as it is. Does anyone do the five-ring method? Perhaps something else I haven't thought of? Hopefully we can figure out the ideal way to tackle this Mare. Its an interesting idea but imo the major problem you have is that to really milk each stunt ribbon, you need to keep switching directions, move to different walls etc and its difficult to maintain forward momentum without losing dreamies (each worth 4k remember). I had the same idea with all thge mare3 stunt runs, trying to rush through mares and squeeze in another ribbon. But in my experience, the time that you would save on each ribbon to get one more in is better spent maximising each ribbon, concentrating on each one and getting those extra multiple dreamies. but lol I like to be proven wrong - it could change the strats for all the mare 3s!    Report

I was fooling around with it this morning and you can do 3 laps with 2 stunt ribbons each lap. Basically you want to grab the stunt ribbon in the cave and while you are performing stunts you want to exit the cave from the left. This will allow you to get the second stunt ribbon immediately after the first. The only problem with this is you may or may not get the link ball and all the stars in the cave. Right now I am experimenting. I usually skip the links all together, exit the cave immediately, and do the first stunt ribbon outside of the cave. It is easy to get 5, but tricky to get 6. You really can't make any mistakes if you want to have enough time to use all 6 stunt ribbons effectively. I will post a video as soon as possible. EDIT: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=VGN_r3f9jmA I was able to get a score of 151,460, and a couple of the stunt ribbons I didn't even get dreamies!
