The Door in Puffy's House

A minor oddity for me, but perhaps someone has figured it out. When playing Puffy, in the last room of her house where you do her in, there is a door. Most of the time when I play it stays shut, but sometimes it gets opened to the outside world and there is a pole... thing in between the open doors. Other times still the door will open and the pole thing will fall. Any idea what is going on here or why it only happens sometimes?
Also, when you are done a mare and you are in the replay and you switch to the 4-mare, 5-best view, 'Course' is misspelt as 'Couse'. I'm sure you all have noticed - I found it mildly amusing. It's like 'In a Spilit Second' from another fine game...

I could be wrong but I have a vague (as in very vague) feeling that this is caused by how long you spend on Puffy's level. it opens after 60 seconds or something like that. Anyone confirm?

Nope I play Puffy all the time and i have always beaten her in about 30 seconds or less and have never noticed that door. Oh and by the way yes spelling mistakes like that are often found in older games.

Quiet!!! I'm trying to maintain a low profile lol! By the way since when do is there a door opening I still have never seen it if it really has happened why dont you get proof?

Spelling error I dont see one anyway although I dont play nights that often I have never seen any door.

if you download the puffy video youll see the door open. from what i can remember, the door opens if you beat the level under a certain time. what does it do? nothing, but it sure is nifty. maybe sonic team planned something for it at one point but couldnt get it into the game in time.
