Just got 262750 For SMTotal. That's a new record for me, ~780,000 points left.

I bought a Wii a few days ago and JoD was one of the first games I've got for it. I've been enjoying it so far, but my scores are so bad I'm not going to post them (I've been getting a D on everything so far, except for that stage with only the chameleon guy which I finished with 270 seconds left). The game has been fun, but it's been weird using a control stick rather than a d-pad. I don't have my saturn at the moment, but I'll be getting it again in February, and at that point I plan to play NiGHTS more.

Thanks for that. I'll be getting my Saturn back in a few days and plan to improve my scores.

So after unpacking my Saturn today I looked at it and found that, unlike my Gamecube, I can't buy a new power cord and have it work in America. I'm going to need to get a transformer for it to work, so it will be a few days before I get to play the game. I'm looking forward to playing NiGHTS again.

Regarding the NiGHTS GBA minigame

Is this the mini-game that you can download from the game "Phantasy Star Online"? If so, I don't remember my exact high score, but it's above 100000. I'll add my JoD scores soon, but I'm missing a few areas because I can't beat that Table Tilt boss.

Yep, it's the minigame from PSO. It's a fun little game. Also looking forward to seeing your JoD scores. Don't worry if you are missing a few areas (Bomamba sucks lol).
And too bad about your saturn not working. Are you trying to play a UK saturn in the States?

I moved to the states a couple months ago and have a Saturn from New Zealand. I looked into the prices of a new saturn + NiGHTS vs the prices of a transformer and found that the transformer was cheaper.
Also, something you might find interesting, is that the mini-game is what caused me to find out about NiGHTS. I've been playing PSO for 5-6 years and online for 2-3 (maybe it's a bit longer or shorter, I'm bad at keeping track of when things happened). After getting tired of my only GBA downloads being the Chao garden, the island from Animal Crossing, and the fairy guy from The Legend of Zelda, I downloaded all the available games once I got online. I quickly gravitated towards NiGHTS, and after playing it a bunch (and after a month or so working my way from F-Rank up to A), decided I absolutely had to get a Saturn and NiGHTS for it. It took me more time after that to get the Saturn + NiGHTS, though. After that I played NiGHTS for a while and managed to finish every stage. Later on I decided I wanted to improve at the game, see what some of the top scores were, attempt to A-Rank every stage, and eventually move beyond that. A quick google search lead me to discover this site, and that's how I ended up where I am today.
Anyway, I'll add scores for the mini-game and JoD sometime this weekend. Personally, what I think is funny about Bomamba in JoD is that I do better against her than I would if I were doing the same thing in real life. That being said, it still takes me almost my entire time to get through the first puzzle. Before Bomamba I thought Donbalon was the hardest boss, just because it was so easy to mess up and throw him backwards, and he went back to the beginning of the stage when you did that. I got lucky and after a bunch of Ds managed to A-Rank him, though.
