Yeah, I once had 328k pre-boss... then I failed myself on Gillwing. Oh
well. That Mare 3 record had something stupid like a Dreamy, a 10-trick, and a
couple of 7 or 8-tricks. Would anybody like a write-up on this
Dream? Lance Way's in the respective forum is already very useful, but
maybe I could add something.

Mare 2 is a new personal best, while my Total improved significantly due to an overall nice run. It was something like this:
Mare 1: 111180 (link broke, like, once)
Mare 2: 59440 (personal best, always helps)
Mare 3: 108060 (two 9's and two 8's in Stunt)
Mare 4: 50780 (pretty solid, overall)
Proof will be up in two nights, for my mother took the digital camera with her on her short-lived business trip to... Hawaii. Poor her.

That is indeed a fine fine run. Great stuff there. I recived the proof PM as well I will be getting that updated very soon. Thanks for sharing some of your strats too! All up to date now.

Great stuff! I think thats a clean sweep for you on MF now? Also while you are more than welcome to put up as many proof scores as you like there isnt any pressure. I dont think anyone can doubt your gaming skills after all the proof you gave us.

Small little boost in score; it's been slow for me, lately. It's a choice between Spring Valley and Soft Museum as far as my next target goes, though I'm leaning toward the latter due to the absence of Stunt Rings.

My potential score is a bit higher than my actual one, but I tend to play the small loops on the safe side when I'm doing well, especially on Course 4. I'd milk that course a little longer if I could spare the dash meter to rush to the palace, but I can not kill Gillwing without my meter. I never thought boss technique (or the lack thereof) would come back to bite me in the ass like this.
Getting 4 - 5 small loops per bounce is the key to success in Courses 2 & 4.

P.S.: Parents both left the morning after they got back on an emergency trip, so proof may be delayed further still. I may just harass my buddy for his digital camera. =3

So I just had mega-oral surgery where some bone was harvested from the back of my mouth and grafted to a spot where I'm genetically missing a tooth. What this means is pain-killers. While this makes NiGHTS obscenely fun, it also makes it difficult to concentrate. Don't expect much out of me for a while.

P.S.: Kraken is god. Until our little chat, I had no idea that the link could be continued in Mare 2 by dodging below the boost ball. I may just attempt improving my MF total tonight!
Edit: New MF Total acheived! Thanks again, Kraken. 700k is almost in reach!

Updated once again and fine fine work there on the scores front. I think a good MF3 will push you over the 700k mark. Hope the mouth pain clears up asap

Working on it... the Stunt Ring is really making me pull my hair out. I'm pretty sure I can't improve my Mare 1, 2, or 4 strategies any further than they already have been.
