I cannot get those stunt bonuses to work in my favour on SM Mares 2 and 4, but I did manage to finally get a link total I am happy with:
Mare 1 Link: 344
I increased my SR on SMM3 by a few hundred points, but it's not worth taking a picture over, so that's it for now!
I also finally tried Frozen Bell for the first time in ages, and improved my score to a much less embarassing total:
Dream: 363560
Mare 1: 88840
Mare 2: 45180
Mare 3: 46050
Mare 4: 36340

And I also got rid of my awful Gulpo abomination!

I think that is about the highest you can possibly get on Mare 1 without doing the walking trick at the start. Mare 1 was my most flawless round of any level, I got every single link and every single gift that I possibly could in that time. I'm really proud of it, and I'll start working on that controversial method now, but I don't know if I could ever replicate that perfect mare!

Godd stuff!
With FB1, its ok to get chips before starting the mare, just not more than once around the snowy trees. So getting 11odd chips is fine.
Also, you might wanna ABP the first group of chips, that can help. Good luck!
