Multiple Dreamies

Something struck me in the mail I got from the Skytopia player's email. He said:
'I used to get 4 or 5 Dreamies per ribbon'
I figured this was a typo, and that he meant 4 or 5 Dreamies per Mare. I tested the multiple Dreamy thing our in Spring Valley, and managed a Quadruple Dreamy off a single ribbon.
Dreamy scores, in bonus time:
Dreamy: 15,000
Double Dreamy: 19,000
Triple Dreamy: 23,000
Quadruple Dreamy: 27,000
5 Dreamy: 31,000
6 Dreamy: 35,000
I have managed a Quadruple Dreamy. How high can we take it? This may have huge scoring implications.
I have just posted a Double Dreamy pic on my web, though I couldn't get a pic of anything higher... you just can't see it in a still picture. I will try to video it.

Got it... just video'ed a Triple Dreamy where you can clearly see 3 separate 2000 x 2 icons. Incidentally, I have just smashed my SV3 record.

lol whats the score?
edit - oh wait you said YOUR SV3 - I thought you said mine - anything over 100k is good though and could potentially get you near 600k

I think I missed part of this, who is skytopia?

The was ridiculous. Good work there, and no Pete, I'm not annoyed ;) Atleast we dont have to argue about what to bloody call this glitch - and there is no doubt now that this is a glitch, just imo more in the star milking area than the other more game breaking ones, so I'm cool with it.
Lets see SV3 at a 5 (6?) stunt ribbon run, SG3 - 3 (4?), MF3 - 4 (possible to squeeze 5?), FB2 - 4 (though I reckon a 5 stunt strategy for FB2 might be worth while - using those dash panels along the bottom of the ladder rungs and ignoring the link balls all together), and SC3 - 3 (maybe 4 by backtracking on the last lap?)
Tab, check out
this
website - some guy put up 690k+ for SV and 820k+ for FB, using mutliple dreamies apparently - hopefully he might provide a vid of it, though I imagine its going to be pretty much want Pete had done

Pete, are you using the digital pad for this?

No - Analogue.

I have noticed that there are no scores coming in featuring the MD strat... one other point I have found when refining the strat is that it helps tons if NiGHTS flies thru the Stunt Ribbon at low speed. I haven't counted it up properly but I think I am getting around 45k per ribbon now, and it is quite easy if you fly into it slowly. Go too fast and NiGHTS can't seem to pull off stunts as easily if at all using the wall hug.

Well, I have been trying Pete! :p My SC3 is up there now, and I think I can only consistently get about 14+ stunts, but I'll try that slow pace technique

I was tryin' to video some of my dreamy runs but nothing turned out well enough to post. I shall try again later. It's strange, less than a month ago I passed the 'fabled' JPN score without using stunt rings at all, and now, using them, ScoreAttack has its first million score... but to business.
I think the easiest way to get MDs is to fly through a stunt ring fairly slowly, hug a wall as soon as possible, and alternate tapping L and R, until you can't stunt anymore (usually I can take it to 1000 x 2) then do a small loop to reverse directions, and repeat. On the second wall hug I can usually get between eight to ten 2000 x 2 icons. If done correctly (at least in SV and FB) your score counter will not stop racking up by the time you hit the next stunt ribbon. Also I have noticed that NiGHTS has an easier time getting stunts when his back is hugging the wall, rather than his belly, odd as that may seem, which makes hugging the ceiling more profitable than hugging the ground. If I begin a wall hug with his belly, I pull off five or so stunts at which point I let go of the controller so that NiGHTS naturally corrects his orientation before I resume tapping. It only takes a split second to switch from belly to back.
I figure I can probably get up to 260k in FB2, and if I apply myself to SV3, seeing as there are twice the stunt ribbons, it can probably go near 500k.
Lastly I want to mention that it was Luigi's earlier post and Aleste's email which really got me working on this strat, so thanks 'a million' to both.
Oh that was corny...

I think it's astonishing Peter how many dreamies you get - especially on FB, which isn't a confined area.
My strategy on FB2 is to sneak into the stunt ribbon from the bottom right and then dive at about 8 o'clock into the hill on the left. Then "headbang" my way up the hill (6 stunts), reverse with a loop and "headbang" down the hill, finally looping at the bottom to squeeze out the dreamies. I usually get between 2 and 5 dreamies but certainly not 8-10!
I appreciate it might take a while to capture a video of you getting something like 260K, but even 200K just to give us mere mortals a glimpse of your Dreamy technique would be quite special. Hope you get the chance to post one :D

Here is a small clip which shows everything in my above post. For a 200k + score, just rinse and repeat.

Now go and beat my score, I know you can do it!!!

That is crazy - excellent video. Cheers for that, I'll be trying it out soon - if I can get SV3 down, then I might challenge you for the SVT, but my other FB strats arent quite up to scratch yet for nearing 1mil.
