Finally got round to having a proper stab at this. The dreams alot more fun and interesting to work out than I thought at first. I always saw it as a weak present in Xmas nights, something just hashed together by Sonic Team. And in some ways I suppose it is - a faster and jumpier Elliot running around SV, but it works out as a nice puzzler, trying to figure out the best routes (as opposed to regular Nights where its working out a best route AND perfecting the gameplay AND the links AND lap strategies).

A few observations -

Just following the arrow won't get you much better than 3 and half minutes time for the Pia. You've got to know the layout of each mare.

The chips around the palace are really useful to get you going for each mare - 2 in a near by tree and 7 from the beginning of Claris' SV1

The boost panels are really useful

Use the chip cages. There's one near both the m2 and m3 captures that will really help you out. Interestingly enough, Sonic just needs to touch the cage to open them (Nights has to drill dash and the kids can't at all)

You might want to talk to Linkus about this, he made a fair bit of progress researching the sonic section of the game.
