SC2 infinite

Tab, your video -I've linked the area that you had trouble with. Haven't got a vid so will try to explain it -

After the rings above the magnet (that pushes you up), paraloop the group of stars anticlockwise starting at 6 o'clock, then dash to the vertical row of 3 chips. Go underneath the bottom one, without picking it up, and paraloop anticlockwise again, grabbing the top chip and the lower chip, leaving the middle one to follow you to the ring to the right.

This is very tricky, mainly because of the tightness of the area, the dash panel and the annoying placed rollercoaster ride thing - I've only been able to do this a couple of times, but you're better at SC2 than me so maybe you'll have better luck...

Jesus that is so totally obvious! Im kicking myself for not having thought of that, I was trying something similar but i didnt think to paraloop the stars which would give you enough time. Huge props for finding that. Looks like SC2 is infiniteable then? I would say that the trick I DO pull of in the video is BRUTALLY hard. As in have only been able to do it 2 or three times. Add to that the general difficulty of the link you just mentioned makes SV1 backwards look like childs play.

Is infiniteable a word? lol

Yeah, atleast SV1's reverse infinite just has one tricky part. But if you could perfect the SC2 infinite, then 100k is probably possible - it does have a link ball as well. With refining of SC3 that could be 100k+100k+100k+50k for the dream total - which takes us quite close to the Japanese score
