I'm looking at the records for SC4 and wondering how you guys managed to get 40k there. Obviously, a second lap is not feasible, and even getting a near perfect as NiGHTS, I can barely get 20k. Recently, I changed to working SC4 as Elliot, and I think I might get 30k if I am insanely lucky. Overall, the point is, how do you get that score so friggin' high?

SC4 is a truly irritating level to get a good score on. Basically the
principle is fairly simple, get up the twoer as fast as possible doing
as well as you can with the links, Get the chip box hidden about half
way up just where the link ball would open. get all the way to the
Ideya capture without getting hit (easier said than done). get althe
way to the end of the roller coaster type area getting as many stars,
rings and chips as you can on the way. You should be able to finish the
roller coaster with about 30 to 40 seconds remaining with (lots of)
practice.
After the roller coaster finishes dash LEFT as fast as you can, and
finish the link ball from SC2 while getting as big a link as possible
with the rings to the left of the idea palace. Then fly over the ideya
palace and fly BACK to the beginning of the link ball you just did and
do it all over again.
The main thing here is getting the link ball in the tower (which i cant
to consitently) and not getting hit on the way up. it does take alot of
practice though. Assuming my saturn is working tonight, which it didnt
seem to be this morning, I will have a go at recording a video.

Ye gods, getting that link ball in the tower is...sickening. I can rarely do it...I'd peg it at once every ten attempts on an actual run of SC4. Add to that, a no-hit run up the tower...I think I'll try for 30k with the brat first, lol. Seriously though, thanks, I'll give it a shot...eventually.
