I've been working more on Splash Garden, since out of all the stages I like it's music best. I've improved my scores to: Mare 4 - 43090 Total - 367480 I'm going to keep working on this stage until I get to tenth on the main list for each Mare plus the total, then I'll begin working on improving my Soft Museum score (the area with my second most favorite music). Also, recently I've been hearing music in Splash Garden that's different from the usual music. Could someone please tell me why this is happening? Thanks a lot, Raphael    Report

Based on their mood the music in the game will change. I believe there are 4 moods (Angry, Content, Happy, Cheering), so you will get a more upbeat song when they are happy or cheerful, or a more subdued song when they are angry. If you ever get a chance to play Christmas NiGHTS there is a Melody Box that you can unlock that will let you mix your own songs!    Report

Thank you for explaining that to me, I'll work hard to make my nightopians happy because I think I have the angry music at the moment - I keep killing them by accident. I'm unable to find either Christmas NiGHTS or the 3D controller in my country, but I'm taking advantage of my Dad visiting another country to get both. I'm hoping he'll be able to win them from eBay. Edit: While trying to make my Nightopians happy I upped my Reala time to 106.    Report

The camera stopped recording at the end of SG3 because the memory was full. However, I only realized this when I got to Reala, so I missed recording SG4. I made another recording of SG4 this morning. I didn't realize the camera had sound, so you can hear my mother watching Star Trek. SG 1 to 3 Reala SG 4 My new Splash Garden Scores are: SG Total - 380820 SG1 Max Link - 126    Report

In the video I posted, around the end of SG1 I went through the fountain and it showed my character go over to the bit with the blue chips and the rings, but then as soon as I started to move I was back next to the fountain. Does anyone know why this happened? Also, is there any trick to doing stunts? Or does it just take lots of practice? 'Cos I can usually only do around 4 to 6. Also, my SG2 high score is now 51510. To give an idea of how I do in each attempt at a stage, here are the top 5 shown when I complete a stage: Total Scores Scores for each Mare    Report

I've been trying to do spins in order to get lots of points in SM 2 and 4. However, each time after I bounce back up from the floor I don't have enough time to continue the link. Is there some trick to doing this? In SG 1 I now have 86340 as my record. I also got another 107 against Reala. Later got my SG2 up to 53470 I'm improving at stunts, which I'm happy about. Managed to improve my link score up to 171. Also, I intend to get up to 10th place in total score, each mare, and the max mare 1 links for Splash Garden and then Soft Museum. Hopefully by that time I'll have the 3D controller, and then I'll work on getting higher than the current Site Record for Splash Garden. I've already reached 10th for Reala and SG2, so I've reached my goals for both of those. Hopefully I'll get 110 for Reala at some point, giving me the site record. 108 comes first, though.    Report

As for Soft Museum, when you are doing spins it doesn't matter how many links it says you are getting because the links don't count towards your points like they normally do. The important thing is to watch the points that it says you are getting for each spin. And the d-pad is the best for doing spins, so even if you get the 3D controller you'll want to pause and switch to a controller with a good d-pad. You may want to check out my video on youtube if you want to see how many spins can be done. Eventually you'll get upwards of 1800 points per spin.
