At Scoreattack.net I aim to provide videos and articles documenting every score based aspect of the game that I am able while trying to learn more about the game itself. I hope to make this the best collection of high level NiGHTS into Dreams gameplay information on the net while fostering a friendly community of players interested in sharing ideas in our forums.

| 27th May - Luigi |
Still having some problems fixing the times on the Xmas NiGHTS page so I think Luigi decided to draw attention away from his simply awesome sub 9 second Time attack time by pulling something everyone thought was impossible. He has only gone and clocked Link attack. Thats right people the new site record for Xmas NiGHTS time attack (and probably the world record for that matter) is now 9999 and thats as high as the link apprently goes. Luigi had a few words to say about this himself which are far more eloquent than what I usualy come up with.
Quite a surreal experience to be honest... it took about 350 laps, just under an hour of constant playing. You're mind just wanders, and you have to reel yourself back in, as its so easy just to lose the link at any point. After I just had this big smile on my face, laughing, almost felt like I had gone mad for a second.
Kind of like a Nights moment of Zen enlightenment... or is that taking it a bit far? -_-
He also boosted several of his Xmas NiGHTS scores and snagged most of the records from Lance and boosting Eliots XMT to 616000
|

| 25th May - Luigi |
|
It looks like its all about Xmas NiGHTS at the moment with Luigi getting in on the action with a truck load of improvements. There were a couple that ar particularly note worthy, first being a thumb hurtingly high Link attack of 5297 and the second being the first ever documented sub 9 seconds Time Attack at 8.994 seconds. Unfortunatley I am having some wierd problem with the database so his time isnt showing up in the tables. I am working on it and should have it sorted soon.
|

| 22nd May - James |
|
James spent a lot of time working on Xmas NiGHTS recently and improved ever score most notably Eliots XNT (Xmas NiGHTS Total) which is now at 425,600 and is also James' first score over 400k! He was also kind enough to point out a couple of errors I made on the Xmas NiGHTS page with the sonic times being in the wrong order and the link attack scores not shohwing up which are now fixed.
|

| 21st May - Miles, James, new vid |
Miles will apparently be doing some work on Soft Museum 3 with a few thousand more points.
James Sent in a complete set of Xmas NiGHTS scores and is currently holding all the Claris records.
I finally ripped the video for the new SC2 SR I hit a couple of days back.
|

| 20th May - Miles |
|
Just a quick one for today, Miles took a quick break from shattering boss records and filled in a few gaps in his score tables with various mare1 link scores. Interesting to see if he can apply his boss skills to the main game...
|

| 19th May - New FBT record |
The big news for the day is we now have a new FBT SR. After a couple of weeks of hard work and research Luigi Coppola(GSK) finally managed to knock Kraken off the top spot with a new score of 709,660 no doubt helped along with a new SR of 109,780 on FB2. Good work indeed, for those following the progress we need only another 23 000 points over the 4 mares to draw level with the known FBT record.
In utterly shocking news, I updated a miscalany of my own scores and even managed to snag a record back from the currently absent Lance Way. I put another 4000k on my SC2 for a new SR of 81,430. I have a video of this which I will encode and upload shortly.

| 18th May - Minor Updates, Jial |
A little more work on the site. I have decided to encourage people to use their real names where possible to lend a little more seriousness to the site. Ergo the following players have changed names:
Me (tabithaboof) - David Adams
GSK - Luigi Coppola
D_Linkus - James Boychuk
Anyone else looking to do so, please let me know via the forums. I also modified the proof link image to something which doesnt make me want to bleed out my eyes and fiddled with a couple of other things here and there..
Jial submitted a mass of new scores for all sorts of levels, mainly centered on Spring Valley
, Frozen Bell and Stick Canyon It was a good set of improvements too adding up to about 120 000 across all the mares. His Gillwing also got bosted a little. I think a little more work on his infinites and a quick browse of the forums for refining a technique or two and we might see a couple more site records being knocked off.
|

| 17th May - Score submission rules. |
As previously mentioned we are changing the way we manage proof for scores. There are now proof photographs linked from the site records page, more will be coming as more proofs arrive. Also there is a change in the rules for score submission, this is copied from the "submit scores" page.
For People holding Site Records
People currently holding records are encouraged to send in proof where they can, but I appreciate that they joined the site under different rules. People getting new site records are requested to provide proof within a month of achiving their scores. Once a player has proven that they are capable of top level play they don't need to send in proof for every single new record but I would like to keep things reasonably up to date, ie an update of proofs every 2 or 3 months. Current proof for scores are available on the Site Records page.
For People not holding Site Records
While you do not need to provide proof at this time, we like to see pictures/videos of people's scores where possible. We operate on a system of trust and mutual respect and are a pretty friendly community who recognise fellow serious gamers pretty easily.
We think it is still fairly relaxed and reasonable but with the site slowly growing we are kind of interested in making it as credible as possible. On a related note, I have posted a message, in the forums about possibly using real names rather than forum names for the high score tables. Any thoughts?
|

| 15th May - Kraken |
In order to buffer his score against the rampaging GSK, Kraken has buffered his FTB by a few thousand points so a new SR of 706,860.
Another site small update is on the way, mainly due to a good suggestion from GSK in the forum in combination with a slight revision of the score submission rules. I should have it up tomorrow.
|

| 14th May - Kraken |
|
Looks like the answer to that questing is an emphatic yes.Frozen Bell 1 has been upped by Kraken to 113,780. Its interesting to note that there is less than 10 000 points between the top 3 players (Lance, GSK and Kraken) and the potential FBT by adding all the site records together is now around the 750k mark, could another Japanese record be on the way out?
|

| 13th May - GSK. Miles |
Well hush my mouth, I say things are quiet and we get a new video and 2 new site records in the same day. First up is Miles with a new boss video. Is it in the boss section on the left hand side illustrating his very creative strat for Wizeman which gave him the truly massive 4 second increase required for his recent site record of 80
Next up is GSK with yet more site records, again on Frozen Bell, FB1 has been increased yet further to 113,120 while FB2 is now 107,430. Sterling work from GSK, Will Kraken Respond?
|

| 12th May - Update |
|
It has been a quiet couple of days with most of the major players busy with finals and other things (Shadow of the Collosus?) but we are still here. I have one final page I am working on before I stop site development and start concentrating on reclaiming records. Also be aware there is going to be a minor change in the submission rules before long. Lastly I corrected an error I made with EVLs scores.
|

| 8th May - Maresuke, EVL and Miles |
After a brief absence EVL gets back into the swing of things with a mixed bad of improvements totaling about 25,000 spread across 6 or 7 different mares. He filled in a lot of gaps in his score table submitting lots of mare 1 link scores as well as all his boss times. He has managed a 2.0 on Gulpo equalling the current record of 108 and getting very close to 2.0 scores on Reala and Gillwing. He even gave us a set of very reasonable scores for the criminally underplayed Christmas NiGHTS.
Looks like Miles is still trying to make me think of superlatives to do his sterling work on the bosses justice with a TRiPPY irritatingly high SR of 80 on Wizeman.
Last but by no means least Maresuke well known Reala and NiD.com forum member joins us with a complete set of scores, every one back up with yummy photographic evidence and some surprisingly good Twin Seeds scores.
|

| 6th May - New userarama and Linkus |
Linkus finally managed to tear himself from Shadow of the Collosus and had a quick update of his Splash Garden and Frozen Bell scores. His SGT is boosted to just under 400k at 381,500 and it looks like he has got the hang of the FB1 infinite with a PR of 102,000.
Dark Jadite from NiD.comis the first of two new members today with a set of strong scores with every dream total over 400k. Judging by his SV1link score he can do the backwards infinite. His boss scores are pretty solid as well, he has obviously got the hang of several 2.0s. His Reala score is particularly good at 107.
Our second new user is Jial Silverthorn who also has a very solid set of scores. His SVT and MFT score are nice and high over 400k. Jial also good set of boss scores with 98 on Puffy and 104 on Jackle.
Welcome and good luck to one and all.
|

| 5th May - New page |
|
I have been quietly working on this for some time now and its finally finished. You may notice a new button on the left there marked "User scores", in here is a drop down menue where you can choose any user on the site and view there scores. There is another interesting little feature is that is also includes the users potential dream total as well as their actual total.
|

| 5th May - GSK |
|
A slightly mixed bag from current mover and shaker GSK, first up is a batch of small increases on Frozen Bell including small improvements on his FB1 and FB3 site records resulting in a new FBT of 667,882. He also upped his SM1 SR to 102,710 andfinished of the day with a couple of new boss times.
|

| 3rd May - Wyldflowa |
After months of dry mouthed anticipation one of the best known players in the NiD score scene joins us. Yes ladies and gentlemen its Wyldflowa! There are still a couple more scores to come but what we have seen thus far is very impressive indeed. All her scores are well over the 400k mark with one oftwo just creeping over 500k.
Most notable is her legendary Xmas Nights Link Attack score of 6504 yes you read that right, thats 6504! For anyone wanting proof please check out her DA page, take a look at some of the excellent art while you are there. I have a feeling we are going to see some new site records before too long...
Also just had word from TRiPPY via this thread that NiD.com and its forums are up and working again so we can all go home!.
|

| 2nd May - GSK, Miles, Ayame, Wizeman vid. |
Ayamemaiden joins us from the NiD.com forums with a complete set of scores including some very good boss times and a couple of A ranks. Keep em coming!
Milesapparently wasnt satisfied with his 78 on Wizeman and added another second to his score for a new TBT of 719. Where is this boss killing rampage going to stop?
GSK started a thread for getting to 800,000 on FB and has already managed to put a significant improvement on the FB1 site record. It now stands at 111,560 due to a slightly alternate strategy. He improved every mare and has a new FBT of 627,560.
Last thing, I finally got around to recording a 2.0 video for Wizeman its not a perfect video an I make a few mistakes costing a little time but there are no glaring errors.
|

| 1st May - TRiPPY, Miles |
TRiPPY upped most of her Twin Seeds scores resulting in a new TST of 138,640. She held a bonafide site record for a short time. A previously though of as impossible score for Wizeman of 77!
Apparently Miles was none to happy about this and responded with a 78 on Wizeman bringing his TBT to a staggering 718, a clear 7 seconds faster than the nearest competition.
|

| 30th April - TRiPPY |
After much cajolingTRiPPY (also known as iNFRA) was kind enough to send us her first set of scores. They are for Twin Seeds and clearly show that we might have a thing or two to learn from the red haired one. Most people start at the bottom of the table and start working up but TRiPPY starts smack in the middle of the TS table just ahead of ahead the Frozen Bell champ Kraken.
We also have a nearly complete set of boss times including a SR on Wizeman! Looks like NiD.com admins debut in style. I have a feeling we will be seeing more from TRiPPY before too long...
|

| 29th April - Linkus |
More steady improvements from Linkus, every score on Splash Garden increased this time. A new SG1 Link of 80 shows he is getting achingly close to perfecting the infinite that level. scores of 40k plus on SG2,3 and 4 led to a massive a leap on his SGT to 307,780 which is over double his previous score.
Now a public service announcement. Nightsintodreams.com is currently undergoing a bit of downtime so we are hosting a kind of temporary forum for a few days. Obviously most of the members are fairly hardcore NiGHTS fans which is good news.
|

| 28th April - GSK |
|
GSK continues to impress, this time on Frozen Bell 6 improvements, one of which a notable SR, 108,790 on FB1 leaves his FBT at a tidy 605,460.
|

| 26th April - GSK, SC vids |
While SC4 continues to be a royal pain I did manage to rip those two videos I mentioned a couple of days ago. I will add them to the Stick Canyon Page on the morrow. The first is for SC2 the second for SC3. Both have a little more potential but doing just fine for now.
GSK is taking a break from Spring Valley after his recent triumph. He is looking for a new level to dominate and had a tentative play with Spring Valley upping all 4 of his PRs, his M1Link and his FBT which is now approaching the 500k mark at 481,700.
|

| 25th April - Linkus |
Linkus makes yet more notable imporvements on Spring Valley increasing every of his mare scores for new SVT of 392,220. HE also had a batch of three new boss scores. The best of which was a 95 on Puffy for his second 2.0. Great work once more.
